Just finished this. 71 hours in total at 58%.

Really loved it. I'm going to take a break before getting to Kiwami but now I'm definitely a fan.

 Welcome!

So what happened with the night club stuff? I wanted to say you should carry on with it because I think one of the funnier scenes in the game is an offshoot of it. But I wasn't 100% sure if that was the case. (Can anyone else clear it up: It's the mission with the hostess and her father in the park. Can't remember if it cropped up on its own, or activated once you did X amount of night club stuff...)

Went through the cabaret story as well, didn't take as long as I expected it to. As long as you partner up with the other shops then you don't need to grind out the mini game so much.

Do you mean the mission where Majima and Youda spy on Yuki's "date"? I only completed 3 of the 6 hostess stories, so unless there's another involving one of their dad's, then I think that's it.

EDIT: Just saw that you mentioned the quest took place in the park, so you might also be thinking of one of Kiryu's missions unrelated to the cabaret, with the dad who lost his family and wants to reconnect with his daughter, only for it not to actually be her and so he becomes her "daddy" instead. :lol:That's just a regular story you bump into, if so.

No, definitely sounds like that first one is it. Glad you didn't miss it.

I just strawberry floating *love* that peeking stance

It takes a little bit to get going. It's worth sticking through until you unlock the real estate and hostess club management stuff to see if you're going to like it or not.

Just got to chapter 5 now. Some of it is very silly like the phone club. Funny though

The silliness helps you stomach OTT earnestness that is the Yakuza. (To say nothing of the personal predicaments of the co-protags.)

You are doing as many of the side missions as possible, aye?

Bought this last weekend after finding it was part of the new cut price hits range.

Great fun so far, i'd forgotten just how much i enjoyed the series as i'd not played a Yakuza game since the third title on PS3.

Funniest part i've encountered so far has been the side mission 'how to train your dominatrix'

So glad I decided to get back into Witcher 3 just before this came out. 2 sprawling RPGs full of hours of side quests is exactly what I need at once. :simper:
