I thought the same about the odds and evens dice game in Yakuza Zero. I picked even like 10 times in a row only to lose every time but as soon as I pick odd it comes out even. Random my arse!

Going in blind doesn't always workout, eh  :fp: Had I known Kiwami kept some of 0's features I'd have started it upon release. The lack of retro arcade games, though... :x

Um, is there anything I can do to make hostess Majima appear? I got the text message regarding her ages ago but when I visit via MEB guy I always get some other girl, and I can't go in without MEB guy. I've read online that you know he's in there by an announcement he makes when you go by the club, but I must be a good few hours (and then some) beyond when I got the message and still nothing. Halp?

There’s a building where you have to speak to a guy who explains each club. It’s near to the left of the topmost club on the map (Jello I think...?) He’ll then ask you to go with him to the club.

Agree to it. Go in and you’ll meet the standard hostess. Finish that.

Then go back in. And meet the most gorgeous hostess ever to grace a game.

Ta Wedge. Will try that later.
I did actually meet the regular one but then reloaded the save as I didn't want to waste gifts/money on her :slol: :fp:

It worked. Thank you!

I also did the one in Club Asia. The look on Kiryu's face

Return of Club Asia makes up for lack of arcade games :shifty:

GAF post on why menu saving is a great addition to Yakuza:

You MOSTLY don't notice it, because you're right about save points never being very far away. However, now finally you can save in the middle of a story section when you get control for a limited time to walk from point A to B. This was especially noticeable in the beginning where (like in all Yakuza games) you walk two steps, get a scene, walk two steps, get a scene, etc. Previous games always forced you to keep playing whenever you were "stuck" in such a section until the chapter ended or you were thrown into the open world. And then you were walking to a save points and a million side stories kept triggering.

0 didn't have them but 6 will along with... :o  :o autosaves!

A tip for the 6th Komaki training exercise: just throw him over and over.

:dread: Penultimate boss fight. How the hell did they not change that for that remake?! (I'm guessing they didn't change it. I mean, they didn't add more guns to it, did they?!)

:P There's 3, 4 and 5 waiting for you if you have access to a PS3.

3 is worth buying for the Club Asia dancers alone    The ones in zero Kiwami aren't a patch on 'em.

Sold my PS3 so I'll be waiting for remakes of those ones if they get around to that. I'll probably just go straight to 6 after this.

Currently 12.99 on PS store.

I loved 0 but am worried playing this now might leave me burnt out ahead of 6. Obviously I don’t have to play on release but still....

So my question - how long is this game if you focus on the main story and a handful of the sub stories? The card based games don’t hold much appeal to me though no doubt I will get hooked on karaoke... again.

Thanks!

Picked this up in the PSN Sale alongside .hack after finishing 0 towards the end of last year, but it's going to be a while before I can get around to it I think.
