I loved 0 but am worried playing this now might leave me burnt out ahead of 6. Obviously I don’t have to play on release but still....

So my question - how long is this game if you focus on the main story and a handful of the sub stories? The card based games don’t hold much appeal to me though no doubt I will get hooked on karaoke... again.

Thanks!

I think the last Yakuza I played was 3 but I loved every one I did play. I do own 4 so I'm astounded that I never played it.

I always remember the quest where you find the adult baby sex men and have to fight them.

Purchased. Can't wait to play this. Does Kiwami have Japanese language with English subtitles? I hated the English dub in the original.

I need to go back to this. I dropped everything else I was playing when monster hunter came out.

Nearly completed the main story, I need to go back and complete before Yakuza 6 comes out.

Picked this up today and sank 3 hours in without even realising it. It's great to be back. God I love these games.

Started this the other day. Loving the graphics and some of the characters are immediately recognisable after playing yakuza zero! I must admit that i have forgotten large chunks of this game - it has been 10 years! I hope that kiwami 2 gets a uk release along with remakes of 3, 4 and 5, which was just amazing.

Can see us getting Kiwami 2 later this year hopefully given the difference between releases of the previous games.

Spent far too long playing with the little toy cars the other day. Kind of wish I'd played 0 before starting this but £11.99 was much cheaper than £24. Maths.

Completed this last night. What the actual strawberry float were they thinking with some of the last few bosses? :dread:

The Matrix banana split in the purple coat that just bullet times everywhere and the final boss with a gun and his two mates with guns after fighting past groups of guys with guns. Stop putting enemies with guns in these games ffs.

It was good but a few levels below Yakuza 0. Story, combat (multiple-health bar bosses regenerating health strawberry float off) and upgrade system were all worse. They were working with material that's around 15 years old so I guess they didn't want to make any major changes with stuff. It took me around 16 hours to finish it which was less than half of what it took for 0. I didn't do a lot of side quests so I'm gonna go back and finish a lot of them off.

This game is so awesome. I haven't even touched the main story since all the substories have started popping up.

It certainty is. Other favorites include (but are not limited to) -

Bowling ball to the shin.
Straight up killing a guy with a dagger.

Good times.

I’ve played a few hours on this and feel delighted that i have forgotten most of the story! Majima anywhere wasn’t in the original release was it? The other thing that is really confusing me - is virtua fighter playable in the sega arcade?
