Reflect on Kazuma Kiryu’s story and watch the new Bucket List trailer before Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches on January 26, 2024.

Just started Like a Dragon. I’m not the biggest fan of turn based combat nowadays, but it does actually feel like a refreshing change from the previous games. It’s also much kinder on my aging fingers.
Story seems great so far, but that’s a given.

Picked up Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 on Steam Deck, games run great so I’m hoping this will be the same.

I've got this to start as well. Might try to finish Baldur's Gate 3 first though!

Just FYI- Despite what the game may suggest, dungeons aren't optional. You'll need to grind in them to kill bosses.

Thanks, I think I had read words to that effect elsewhere. It’s a bit disappointing (having to grind), but I am enjoying the mechanics immensely so far, so will see if I am able to endure it.

My copy is on its way from Coolshop (£44.95). Loved the previous game, so I'm looking forward to this. I don't know what Sega are playing at releasing Persona 3 a week later though. I have no willpower and pre-ordered both. I just know I'll bounce off this to play P3.

After reading news that new game plus is locked only to the more expensive editions, I have to ask....

Why?

So my bad luck continues. Turns out 'Coolshop' is run out of Denmark. My pre-order that they claim to have dispatched on Tuesday has yet to arrive with Royal Mail. They now tell me their delivery is 6-12 business days (this is not mentioned on their pre-order product pages). I advise avoiding using them unless you're in no hurry for your games.

I'd kept tonight/tomorrow free to play, so I'm really disappointed at the delay. Let's see if it gets here before Persona 3 (ordered from TheGameCollection) or not.

Started this today. Really enjoyable so far. More of the same from the last game with how the game starts and the setting. Combat is great as always and it's just a very charming world.

The amount of mini games and their depth is very impressive. A crazy taxi like delivery game, a Pokemon Go simulator, dating app where the right answer leads to hot pics :slol:

It feels a lot more difficult than the last game, the randoms on the island have killed me multiple times now. Hopefully I'll unlock new skills and jobs soon.

Best new feature is the hello button, randomly waving at people and they then become online friends in yet another mini game/system.

The mini games in this have evolved into full games within a game. I'm currently doing a version of Animal Crossing. t's hugeeeee

Going to try to fully complete it before returning to the main story.

So, so tempted to pick this up. Loved the original. But will it ultimately come to Gamepass? And we've got P3 dropping at the end of the week.
