Another few hours tonight, all just doing one massive side activity. But I want to fully complete it as it'll lead to loads of cash which will make the rest of the game much more enjoyable.
The open world is huge and busy, but not Ubisoft busy as it has a lot of personality and the aim of the game is silly fun. They have the toy dispensers which you can use for getting new characters for the Pokemon Go style mini game.
It's a very full game and the new setting, adds to the atmosphere. A lot more open than the last game too, which was restricted to the streets, this had parks, hotels and beaches.
I'm on the last chapter, about 45 hours in. Loads and loads of side stuff I've not really touched either.
A couple of that last bosses are very over the top and that's over the top even for a Yakuza game. Both of the leads are great and the way one is powered up throughout the game is very well done and leads into the gameplay.
The mini games are huge, especially the island resort, the best one is the Pokémon Snap style mini game of riding a tram around and taking pictures of perverted men. Which is not something you get to do everyday. But it's very enjoyable to catch them in the act.
It's silly how much there seems to be to do in this (even compared to the list game which wasn't exactly light!) and how almost everything feels improved.
