Another few hours tonight, all just doing one massive side activity. But I want to fully complete it as it'll lead to loads of cash which will make the rest of the game much more enjoyable.

The open world is huge and busy, but not Ubisoft busy as it has a lot of personality and the aim of the game is silly fun. They have the toy dispensers which you can use for getting new characters for the Pokemon Go style mini game.

It's a very full game and the new setting, adds to the atmosphere. A lot more open than the last game too, which was restricted to the streets, this had parks, hotels and beaches.

22 hours in. Chapter 6, loving the combat and exploring. Unlocked the jobs system and currently everyone is level 25.

Will get back to the story eventually.

I'm on the last chapter, about 45 hours in. Loads and loads of side stuff I've not really touched either.

A couple of that last bosses are very over the top and that's over the top even for a Yakuza game. Both of the leads are great and the way one is powered up throughout the game is very well done and leads into the gameplay.

The mini games are huge, especially the island resort, the best one is the Pokémon Snap style mini game of riding a tram around and taking pictures of perverted men. Which is not something you get to do everyday. But it's very enjoyable to catch them in the act.

Bought this on a whim this week as I'd completed Yakuza Gaiden. It's good!

Wasn't expecting a Pokemon Snap pastiche where you're photographing perverts.

Looking at this - is the "Master Vacation Special Items Set" worth the premium price point for the deluxe edition>

SUIJIMON LEAGUE!

(How have they not been sued :D)

It's silly how much there seems to be to do in this (even compared to the list game which wasn't exactly light!) and how almost everything feels improved.

I've now reached chapter 6 and am doing the big side quest, it's certainly very different from the main game and could actually be a standalone game in it's own right. :D

The live-action crime-suspense series is based on an original screenplay loosely inspired by the first game in the series, 2005's Yakuza. It will be set mainly in the Kamurocho entertainment district, straight from the games, and follows Kiryu and three of his childhood friends in two time periods, 1995 and 2005.
