I loved the turn-based combat. :shifty:

Wasn't very sure about 7's change to trad RPG combat. Ended up loving it. (Best Yakuza story helped.)

Naming the other one Like a Dragon is a silly choice.

OP, it's just 'Like A Dragon 8' now. Yakuza branding has been dropped for all three upcoming games.

Like a Dragon is what all the Yakuza games are called in Japan. Seems like they're dropping the Yakuza name altogether (I just added that into the thread title)

UPDATE: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the next mainline game in the Like a Dragon series, previously announced as Like a Dragon 8. Publisher Sega has confirmed the game will be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Developer RGG Studio will have more details on its upcoming games, including Like a Dragon Gaiden, at its showcase on 15th June.

I did as well, I want lots more Like a Dragon Turn Based games, I will buy any turn based ones day one.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will launch on 26 January.

For those who have not played it the previous Like a Dragon is like £12.99 Digitally on Xbox right now if you pick the middle pack, the cheaper game only pack is more money weirdly.

Can't wait, the last game was amazing, a moving story and a lobster you can summon to attack enemies.

The new game even has spike out and sega bass fishing as playable games in game. Absolutely amazing.

Finally picked up Yakuza LAD so looking forward to starting it soon.
