Ah yes, UKMail are also a bag of shite. Twice I've used them. Twice I've paid for next day delivery and twice it's turned up a day late.

Don't complain to them mate. I worked for a company over the Summer and we used Yodel as one of our primary couriers and you'd be shocked at the amount of times people called in to complain about them. There was really nothing I could do other than call their support line, and they truly are strawberry floating useless 90% of the time. The amount of inquiries I had to make with them was ridiculous, especially as you'd think that their support lines for contract holders would be a little better.

Nice

I thanfkully never had one single issue with HDNL and thus far no issues with Yodel; bar them always getting me packages at 5pm (due to my address being the last one on route to the yard)

I did have a magical moment with Royal Mail with the Zelda delivery, where the driver walked up the path, no parcel in hand and just posted a "Your not home, come pick up" card. I walked outside and called him a prick and to get the parcel and walk back down. He did so in such disgrace

Similar thing happened to me with Zelda as well. Delivered a day late (despite actually paying for postage), then the postie just left a card instead of ringing my bell. Cheeky strawberry floater also backdated the red slip so it looked like he'd delivered the day before. I'm complaining about it - I can take parcels being delivered late, but lying to me takes the piss really.

One thing I didn't know about Yodel until recently is that apparently they are letting go a lot of their normal drivers and are hiring independent people in their place. I was wondering why I've had a few deliveries from folk turning up in just a car and not looking like a delivery driver at all :?

Are any mail carriers any good? They all seem to be woeful in my experience.

I don't I've had any experience with Yodel, as Royal Mail still seem to be doing Amazon deliveries around here.

Went to the Royal Mail sorting office to collect a parcel the other day and they couldn't find it on the list. :fp:
They told me they'd "have a look for it when we get the time" and they'd call me back. Over a week later, still no phone call, so I went in. Guy found it on the list almost straight away. :fp: :fp:

Regardless of who delivers Amazon's stuff though, I won't be ordering first class of them again. Twice I've ordered items first class, both of which were in stock, and it's taken over 5 days for them to arrive. Terrible. The fact it costs a strawberry floating bomb as well just adds insult to injury. :x

nespresso emailed me back saying they have noted my complaint and future deliveries will come with a note to be signed for by a person

One Yodel driver last year - who turned up in a plain white van - asked me how to use the "signature machine" because he didn't know. Well how the strawberry float should I know! Needless to say I did finally manage to navigate to the correct screen.

Completely strawberry floating useless.

Awful awful awful company.

I would have a proper moan about them, but once I start I would not be able to stop.

this is where buying from sellers on Amazon rather than direct from amazon is becoming better as most use either royal mail or a decent delivery company.

onyl downside is some of them are nob heads.

strawberry floating hell just had a shitty delivery from them today.

My dad ordered a monitor and speakers from amazon monday night, got dispatched wednesday via yodel. Already I was apprehensive. So for two days the tracker doesn't even update beyond "shipment received by carrier" then suddenly as 11 last night it updates that it went to Wednesbury then Coventry and this morning it was out for delivery at 8. Got here about 15mins ago. Guy didn't ring the working doorbell or knock, just dump the package next to one of our cars on the drive, not even near the door, then just strawberry floated off. The only reason I knew it was here was cus our dachshund was barking because he's our 2nd doorbell in a way  . I open the front door to see the guy in the white van, not even a proper yodel one, strawberry floating off up the street and the package just left there. :fp: thankfully it's all alright but i'm still gona have a moan at amazon on my dad's behalf as this is the 2nd time we've had a shitty delivery from them.

Bout a month before christmas I ordered a 3ds and hardcover comic from amazon, got sent via yodel. Took 3 days to deliver, then on the day it was out for delivery at about 4ish the tracked updated to "delivered" with a time of about 10mins previous. I of course thought here we go yodel horror story 101, was on chat to an amazon representative and then 10 mins later the guy turns up and tries to lie when I questioned him as to why it had updated to delivered on amazon saying he doesn't control that :fp:

Wished they strawberry float off and die, horrible shitty company. Why amazon are dragging their name through the mud by using them I don't know :fp:

This as happened to me a few times. Waiting for a white van, and it's some crabby-looking woman in a Fiesta.

Left my parcel in the rain before in full view of everyone :fp:
