strawberry floating hell. At least they arrived, I guess, but still. :fp:

They should change their strapline.

Yodel: it's anyone's guess.

I have a story. Yodel delivered an item on the day they said they would :datass: . The End

A tall story indeed!

Were you not brought up to know that lying is wrong?

I did think it would be a difficult story for people to believe.

Have you checked the name and address on the parcel? It is possible that they have delivered it to the wrong address and it is just coincidence that you had ordered the same item as somebody else.

Is it me or are the big online retailers finally starting to drop Yodel? Amazon seem to only use Amazon Logistics and DPD these days, and John Lewis have used DPD and MyHermes for my last few orders. I can't remember the last time something I ordered has been sent with Yodel.

I have noticed that too. But it's hardly a change in service level! MyHermes are worse than Yodel in my experience!

myHermes are far worse than Yodel in my experience. A few years ago myHermes left my Secret Santa gift outside in the rain :fp:
I've not experienced Amazon Logistics but aren't they supposedly just as bad as Yodel?

Never had an issue with DPD though.

MyHermes and Amazon Logistics are just as bad as Yodel.

DPD have been great whenever I have had something delivered from them. Why don't Amazon let us decide who things are delivered by? I would happily pay an extra couple of quid for my stuff to be delivered by a company I trust.

Amazon still use Yodel frequently. It just depends where you stay. I've still never had a delivery from Amazon Logistics, it's always either Yodel, DPD and sometimes DHL.

Amazon Lockers, people. See if there's one near you, makes everything a lot easier.

The corner shop by me put up a sign for something like that recently. I don't think it's a locker as such though. Anyone used that kind of service before?

I know a couple guys that have worked for Amazon Logistics and from what I hear it's no wonder stuff goes wrong. They were doing 120-150 deliveries a day. I've seen in the back of one of the vans and it's just packages all the way up to the top.

I think that's Collect+. A few of the newsagents around here have started doing that.

Collect+ has been ok the few times I've used them.

Collect+ use Yodel to actually send the parcels, which is no surprise because Yodel owns half of the company

So apparently Hermes have created time-travelling services now....

So I don't have a clue whether my parcel's been sorted at the national hub or whether it's at the local delivery depot :shifty:
