The Dyson's I have had and got aren't all that.

Really? We have had ours for about 6 years now and it is still awesome.

Ordered stuff from ASOS yesterday for next day delivery today since I was off and not doing anything. Get an email at 8 this morning saying they weren't able to send it with their usual next day service (they didn't bother saying why) and that they changed it to be delivered between 6pm-10pm tonight and that I'd get a text with the delivery slot (which I still haven't got)

Had a parcel delivery from Yodel last week. Got home and found the dreaded "we missed you" card. Said card noted that my parcel had been placed in a "safe location" around the side of the house: the bins. Which clearly state the number of the house they belong to. I looked in both my rubbish and recycling bins and nothing there. Checked the neighbour's and bingo.

These strawberry floating cowboys.

Had a delivery guy round our way looking for number 42 in a road of 38 houses. Rang our doorbell for help. Took one look at the parcel and told him he was in the wrong place, he'd put SG for the postcode instead of SL and was 70 miles away from the right place :fp:

Had 2 Amazon packages delivered yesterday at 9pm - is that normal? Felt sorry for the poor guy, he got lost and had to call me for directions.

Just had a notification that Amazon logistics have handed my delivery to me personally at home.
Impressive considering I'm several miles away and there's nobody home.

I've had that happen. Mine was put next to my front step and a card sticking out the front of the door. Lying scum.

Yeah, apparently "Under the garden seats at back door" happens to have my exact name. And hands seeing as how the notice specifically stated it had been handed to me.

We had a parcel delivered to us yesterday which had our address on it but not our name. The delivery driver didn't say who the parcel was for so I didn't realise until after I had signed for it and the guy had walked off.

Luckily there was a phone number next to the address so my Mum phoned it. A girl answered and my Mum asked if she was Lisa to which she replied that she was. My Mum told her that her parcel had the wrong address on it and that it had been delivered to us and asked her which number she lived at. She said 24 which my Mum told her she doesn't because that's where we live. She then said she would look in her bag as she has her address in there. It turns out she lives at 42. :fp:

It was actually DPD that delivered it but a Yodel delivery driver did ask us to take a parcel for someone a few doors up as they were out. They also put a note through their door as the woman who lives there came to collect her parcel from us a bit later on, so Yodel actually did well for once. They also managed to deliver a parcel for us without any problems a couple of weeks ago too.

I've started making a list of which delivery firms companies use seeing as they DON'T LIKE TO TELL YOU.

Last order was from Twinings and some books from Amazon & they were both delivered by a manager from Royal Mail (must be short staffed).

My house doesn't currently have a number on it, which isn't a problem for anyone else but for Yodel drivers it's a curve-ball of epic proportions.
