I ordered some Blu-rays and games a month ago from Amazon with Prime next day delivery (to be delivered by UPS). Didn't show up so contacted customer services three days later and straight away they sent out a replacement parcel via Royal Mail special delivery no questions asked which arrived no problem. The original parcel arrived two weeks later and I didn't have to sign for it. It wasn't showing up as delivered on the tracking info on Amazon or on UPS' site after a few days so I just eBayed them all :slol:

Ordered some stuff yesterday and Amazon have finally started using Amazon Logistics for deliveries around here. Odd that its taken so long since one of their biggest fulfillment centres in Europe is about 10 miles away. The stuff came early and was just posted through the letterbox rather than needing signed for which is handy.

Moved into a new flat yesterday, arranged the new router to be delivered on the same day, thinking they'd turn up mid-afternoon/evening as usual, so we'd be in. Nope. Turned up first thing when of course there was nobody there.

Does anyone know if Royal Mail have any kind of bizarre policy to just ignore notes on doors?

I left a polite note today asking the postie not to knock the door because of working nights and the banana split did his usual of pretty much banging the door off its hinges.

New TV was being delivered from eBuyer by Yodel yesterday. Had the day off, stayed in all morning and checked the tracking every hour or so. At 11.30 the tracking updated to DELIVERED. "WTF?" Nothing had been delivered. So I phone Yodel and they tell me they'll need to start in investigation which because of the bank holiday, won't start until Tuesday and could take 72 hours. I asked if they had a phone number for the driver and was told, "no sorry, none of our drivers have phones". They say it was signed for by someone called SOM.

So I'm pissed off, but I decide to take my kids off to see Civil War. I'm driving out of town and see a Yodel van, so I decide to follow it and when he stops at his next delivery I ask the driver if he has anything for my street. "Yeah, it's a TV isn't it. Hadn't got to you yet.". I explain the situation to him, and he says "why didn't customer services call me, they have my number?" :x

Thankfully I took the TV from him there, else I'd have missed him when he arrived. After a bit of Googling I discovered SOM is an internal code they use, which their customer service guy should have known about.

Honestly I'd prefer this than not as I do a lot of sending out of orders dependent on materials coming in and my sleep pattern is often strawberry floated.

The thing about RM is there's usually a collection office you can reasonably get to sometimes within walking distance. With couriers you can't do anything.

Anyway, the other day Amazon Logistics came by around 4pm on Amazon Prime Trial and RM24 failed to deliver stuff I needed for an event. Maybe the seller lied about despatch, but I expected the opposite.

Had a delivery with them over the weekend, website said everything was fine and order will be with me on Friday however needed to go out so called them and they said it was delayed 3-4 days. Why bother with online tracking if it doesn't work!

Ordered a tent, sleeping bag and foam mat from Mountain Warehouse on Monday morning with next day delivery. It was being sent by UK Mail and when I checked the delivery status in the morning it said it had been delayed. Emailed UK Mail and they said it hadn't been sent to them yet by the retailer. Got Mountain Warehouse on their live chat to chase it up, they said it must have been lost and immediately authorised the same order to be sent out again and refunded the postage I paid for next day delivery. New order turned up yesterday and the original turned up today  :fp: I've only been charged for one and the order was just under £60, wonder If I'll get a refund by sending it back :slol:

That's the about 90% legal cult stuff I want to do. Where did you get it? (it's clearly screen printed on the same shirts I use).

Got it from "Honcho SFX" - https://www.honcho-sfx.com/mens-c1/t-sh ... een-p10354

But from their amazon store as I was buying some other bits and bobs in the same basket.
They've got lots of other cool tees too:

Hmmm very clever, no brand names or trademarks used - however, they are using likenesses, which is illegal in certain US states. Are they UK based?

Edit: Is that 2nd one The Thing? I'd love to make something about that film.

It's these cult things, I really want to do that. I'm working on doing that kind of thing right now, while still being original. It's a very hard thing to do.

Also, that site claims they are officially licensed, but I can tell from the very specific language they're using that they're not all licensed - or they would be plastering the brand names everywhere. :)

Use them all the time, they're pretty good but obviously have a package size limit.
