No, it's close to a great game - ie Yoshi's Island. If you read the rest of the review, as opposed to just the summary, it makes perfect sense.

I wish I could go and read the Gamespot review as the bullet points sound a bit dense and contradictory. But alas, that site crashes my Chrome application and locks up my PC. Probably for the best.

The new Yarn Yoshi amiibos are bigger than normal amiibos... but the packaging is smaller. Strange stuff! I wonder if the smaller packaging will be used for future amiibos?

You can see more shots here. It all looks *very* cute!

The Squid amiibo came in a smaller package too.

Ah! So maybe it's just the "Limited Edition" packaging that is smaller?

I think that the Inklings also came in smaller packages but I could be remembering other people's posts wrongly as I only got the Squid.

I just saw the pictures from that link. I'm giddy with excitement about my Yoshis :toot:

Hmm...I still say that line is clunky.

He doesn't half go on about Yoshi's Island, I can understand referencing it but we are multiple games down the line now. Let it go. Does every 2D Mario platformer get reviewed in detailed comparison to Super Mario World step by step? I don't think its right to spend the whole review talking about another game.

It is when it's relevant. The whole point is that he's explaining why it's not as good as Yoshi's Island, a game it is very similar to.

Has anyone seen a picture of the Yoshi amiibo triple pack? I can't trace an image anywhere; rather odd as it's out this week.

Nintendo Store just dispatched my order for the Amiibo / game boxset :-)

I was determined not to bother with Amiibos, but the collector in me can't help it.

A seven is better than an eight.

There's no Wario amiibo if he isn't wearing purple and yellow.

Caved and ordered this for the missus.
She's going to piss her pants when she opens the box when it arrives (she makes little woollen creatures, so loves this)

So, the Nintendo store has emailed to say DPD are delivering this tomorrow...

Are Nintendo breaking their own release date? By some good margin as well!
