This is really easy for me.

WEIRD.

I hate this word, so so much. It is only used to put down someone elses passions, activity and what makes them them. When it fundementally comes down to it, all human beings are in some way dysfunctional, and to pretend that 'I'm' 'normal', and that person is weird because you don't act and do the same things is divisive and also basically bollocks. I always act to understand rather than screw my face up and say 'weird'.

No, you probably just know sane people. A quick google returns a Times article, which suggests it happens in London at least since Journos don't report on much outside of their bubble.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Respect is a social responsibility programme launched in 2008 by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Its main objective is to work towards unity and respect across gender, race, religion and ability.[1]

Fair enough.

Like how something boring can bore you into becoming bored, or something annoying can annoy you into becoming annoyed, something addicting can addict you into becoming addicted.

Of course, it's neater to shortcut to the pure adjective "addictive", and it certainly rolls off the tongue better, which is why we see that used much more in the UK, while borive and annoyive never even became words.

When your only defence here is really "that word you're using correctly is not what I say", you're on pretty shaky ground.

This post is equally borive and annoyive

I joke it was actually very informating

:slol: Context is a bitch. I mean wiping it from social media (e.g. "+1 Respect" in Facebook comment chains on pictures of sportsmen doing something vaguely ethical). I'm more okay with it in the context of gender and race equality. I guess.

Used, as far as I can tell, exclusively by wankers.

Belly - I utterly detest this word, everyone who uses it sounds idiotic.

I'd like to remove the word Ginsters, because I found out that it was pronounced with a hard 'G' and my world fell apart.

Well someone doesn't have a sense of whimsy

Titties.

I just sounds childish and derogatory, but is normally said by lusting males. Unseemly.

I was going to suggest 'the' as well. Having had to do loads of copywriting for people who aren't native speakers it can take twice as long thanks to the word 'the'; people don't know where they should or shouldn't use it.

Oh, man... I use that word quite a lot. It is pretty common to hear it around London. I use “pal” fairly frequently, too. I don’t use “bro” although it seems to be becoming popular.

Nothing wrong with mate. I sometimes use 'bro' with a couple of specific close friends but realisitically it's better used if you're <25. Or in the gym.
