Most of Valve's games achievements are fantastic. I didnt get it (cos the level terrifies me) but not using a gun on 'Ravenholm' in Half-Life 2 was pretty awesome.

I got the gnome one in Left4Dead 2 but not Half-life2.

Getting the Special Licence in Gran Turismo 3. I had to switch the gearbox to manual to get those extra seconds. The Monaco track was a pain to do.

Completing my Pokedex on Ruby was an awesome feeling.

I co-operated with friends. The last Pokemon I got was a Kingdra that we whored about between like five people! :lol:

That was only after a 2 hour Horsea fishing marathon! You had to catch the little buggers before you could tell if they had the scale as an item.

I think my best achievement was on burnout revenge. You had to get revenge on the same person like 100 times or something. SO Tragic Magic and I just had a jolly afternoon on there getting that.

Oh, also that one on Red Dead Redemption multiplayer. You had to set off from one side of the map at dawn, and get to the other by sundown. Did that with SchminkyPinky in tow. That was a great one.

I think most of my greatest gaming achievements were from waaaaaaay back when when I'm the Best ( :wub:

) was running in NGC.

I remember back on the original GR I bought Hitman 2 off Cobra for a steal of a price and he sent the game before I even paid! Oh how I loved that thread.

I digress, my best achievement in that competition was beating a boss on Metal Arms Glitch in the System in a stupidly fast time. Not only that I managed to film it and post it on the web (with some help from Andrew Mills), which wasn't as easy back in 2003/2004 :lol:

Followed your link to this thread Aaron and you're a TOTAL BASTARD! Yes we spent all afternoon getting the achievement but you ran off before I got it for myself!

Genuinely can't think of one stand-out achievement. I've never 1000G'd a game, because I don't do multiplayer, but I rarely go out of my way to get any achievements that don't just come through playing the game 'normally'. Think there was one in OutRun where you had to lead so many online races in a row or something...guess that was reasonably satisfying.

One of my favourite achievements on the 360 was finishing Perfect Agent on PD0 with Aaron. I did strawberry float all, he memorised all the enemy placements and gooseberry fool from youtube videos. :lol:

My favourite actual gaming achievement is probably finishing Perfect Dark on Perfect Agent solo. Doing the Carrington Institute mission after about a day of solid trying was unimaginably awesome.

God, Perfect Dark Zero on Perfect Agent.

I only had the jungle level to do to get it. Many times I've gotten past the toughest parts and died just before getting the hover jet thing. One day I might try it again but it was so gutting. I crawled myself in agony through all the other levels only to be slapped by that one.

My Mile High Club video on COD 4 (Veteran Difficulty) 993,000 views too 8-)

I scored the maximum 300 on 10-pin bowling in Wii Sports Resort tonight. I've been playing a couple of times a week for around seven years and to finally achieve the 300 - twelve straight strikes - felt amazing! I think this is my best achievement in videogaming :toot:
