Okay, so let's do the topic we usually do for the weekend. Say what you're doing on each of the major Christmas days, and any other day in the next week and a half when something cool is happening in your world.

Christmas Eve: Fiancee's parents and brother coming up to stay (until Sunday, annoyingly). Drink lots. Have nibbles.

Christmas Day: Having it at mine for the first time ever. Christmas Lunch with the in-laws (I'm in control, and therefore the amount of roast potatoes will be off the scale), then my mum, her boyf and one of my brothers are coming over in the evening for a party. Alcohol intake = ow head.

Boxing Day: Hangover. Leftovers. Catch up on some Christmas telly and probably rope someone into some Xbox 360 multiplayer action.

New Year's Eve: Going to a party at a friend's house.

New Year's Day: MAJOR HANGOVER.

Best present EVAH: Commodore 64. Christmas 1985, I believe.

Today - Whenever we finish work? Park the car and pop to the pub for a few. Get home, wrap presents, have tea, shower, then go back over pub and get wrecked!

Christmas day - Get up (throw up more likely!) get straight on Bucks Fizz or something. Do the present thing. Go over pub for a pint. Sister is doing lunch this year, so I don't have to piss-ass around with that. Eat, drink etc etc

Boxing Day - Rovers at home to MK Dons. Again drinks aplenty!

Sunday 28th - My Birthday. Liverpool on TV. Drinks and grub (probably starting to grate a little now)

New Years Eve - (I can't stick it to be honest) Probably pub with g/f and mates.

Best pressie? Probably a SEGA Megadrive.

28th: Blackburn vs. City.

Best present: Mega Drive, around 1996.

Today - Maybe walk back into town with the old man when he finishes work to pick up last minute bits and pieces like we do every year. Then maybe watch a film or something

Xmas - Won't get up till about 11am! everyone will wake me up, take the dog out, have breakies, open presents, watch films with the family / dinner / films

Boxing day - Repeat but no presents / Uncle maybe coming round

New years - not a strawberry floating clue yet

Best present - Probabily the gameboy I got back in 91/92 I think, As since the age of about 7 I have known what I was getting for xmas, this was a real suprise, I got Kirby's dreamland and Super mario 1 it was strawberry floating immense! as I didn't have a clue I was getting it! quite possibly the best reaction ever!

Today: Making all the food for tomorrow, pretty much every unit of our family has an assigned list of dishes to prepare. There's usually a tonne left over and we use it for boxing day as well. I usually get drafted into doing the less easy to screw up parts. I also have to visit by gran because she's in hospital and can't be here on Chirstmas day. :(

Chirstmas day: I get up at about eleven, exchange presents with my mum and sister, have breakfast and mess around with all the stuff I've been given. After lunch we go to my gran's house (the other one) and spent the rest of the day there with the rest of the family, exchanging more presents, eating, playing music, drinking and probably saying mean things about the family members we don't like behind their back which then gets overheard and starts an arguement.

Boxing day: Basically a repeat of Chirstmas but with some kind of trip, either to the cinema or ice rink, with my cousins.

Best present? We already did a thread on this but okay, N64.

Christmas Eve: Take a bath, tidy up stuff, play Animal Crossing City Folk at about 7pm till 10/11pm, see my family and just go to bed early. Talk to mates on MSN.

Christmas Day: Open presents. Chat. Go and play left 4 dead, and do so till everyone wakes up then we're going to have some kind of Christmas Dinner. Then play L4D all day

Boxing Day: My brother and his finance is coming over for post-Christmas Day, and probably still L4D

New Year's Eve: Probably usual..play games or get drink.

New Year's Day: Hangover, or just playing L4D all day.

Best present EVAH: ...Goldeneye 007 for N64 at 1997 or 1998.

Today: Went and did the last minute shopping, will go and see the gf for a couple hours later, then meet up with mates at the pub.

Xmas Day: Get up and open presents, piss around for a bit, have the xmas meal with family, go round see the gf and her family, gf will come round mine and see my family.

Boxing Day: Brother is a Chelsea fan, so we've got tickets to go and see Chelsea v West Brom. So need to leave for London at around half 8. We'll probably stay in London for a bit afterwards and find a pub to watch the Arsenal game on.

New Years Eve: Work, thank god, NYE is gooseberry fool.

New Years Day: No idea.

Christmas Eve: My girlfriend and one of my brothers are arriving in a couple of hours, so a couple of drinks and my body weight in Pringles.

Christmas Day: Presents Part 1. Have a cooked breakfast and then drive to my girlfriends parents at about 1. Presents Part 2 followed by Christmas Dinner. No idea what happens at theirs at night, I'm guessing beer and TV.

Boxing Day: Still at my girlfriend's parents. Her brother will be coming down so more Beer and TV.

27th: Another one of my brothers will be picking me up from my girlfriends place on his way down here. Him and his wife will be staying for a couple of days so more beer and TV. A bit of a trend is developing ...

New Years Eve: Driving up to Glasgow in the afternoon. Then will be having dinner with friends and then going to a pub. Need to stop drinking at midnight because I need to drive home the next day :(

New Years Day: Back home so will probably be just me and my mum. Possibly some village hall type party at night.

Best present: Drumkit - 2001 ish

Christmas Eve - Not much, probably go round my Nans to pick up presents. Go bed but I want fall to sleep until about 3.

Christmas Day - Get up, not sure when. Open Presents, chat, grandparents come round (they're staying a hotel, their choice, not ours), play with my new toys.

Boxing Day - All the family come round, laughs and drinks are had. Sister's working so I'll have to help out, unless my cousins do that for me.

New Years Eve - Not sure, if I'm not at my friends I'm with my cousins. Don't know what I'll do.

New Years Day - Get bored.

Christmas Eve: Spending the night over my mums, watch some films, eat some junk food, generally be very lazy and revel in it.

Christmas Day: Open prezzies, will make sure to get a picture of me with my SS present to post on here. Then going to my aunties for Family dinner, then arse about for the rest of the day.

Boxing Day: No plans, but this is generally when I visit or call friends up to see how their day was, to catch up if I haven't seen them in a while.

New Years Eve: Party at some friends. Theme is heroes/villains but we're encouraged to create our own. One of my main ideas is called Private Eye, which is in no way a rip-off of Benedict from Last Action Hero.

New Years Day: Recover from drinking, maybe do some sales shopping and pick up some cheap games, dvd's and books.

Christmas Eve: so far I've spend it in bed. I have yet to get up. Later though, dinner (cottage pie, as per tradition), then parents might go to Midnight Mass leaving me to drink and play Rock Band.

Christmas Day: Get up whenever I wake up, open stocking presents, go downstairs, muck about with them for a bit, then lunch, then main presents, then muck about with them for a bit, then tea, then bed later on.

New Year's Eve: in with parents. Sparkling wine and TV.

New Year's Day: probably bugger all I imagine.

Christmas Eve: Playing some Monopoly with some mates later while having a few beers. We decided against the pub as it was ram-packed last year.

Christmas Day: Open presents, lovely dinner with the parents etc.

Boxing Day: Going to the usual family gathering, in which nibbles will be eaten and nervous relatives who don't know what to talk to me about stammer and dispense twenty pound notes.

December 27th:: 21st Birthday bash for a friend.

New Year's Eve: Lots of drinking at both the house and a local club - perhaps stagger home.

New Year's Day: The same thing I do everyday...try to take over the World. Maybe play some Xbox.

Christmas Day: Do some present stuff with my old man, go and visit my Gran in hospital, dinner, then to my brother & his Missus.' Many drinks may be had.

Christmas Eve - Had the day off. I rushed into town to get my sister her christmas present, though promptly left it where she'd inevitably see it. I went for a few drinks with friends but was driving so I'm not festively half-cut. Then, they got drunk and hungry so wanted to go home. Bah, there's my evening cut horribly short.

Unfortunately, today is effectively my Christmas as well.

Christmas Day - I'm working 10am-6pm, which is the worst possible time. I'm up too early to see everyone open their presents and catch my grandparents, and I'm home too late for Christmas dinner. Everyone will have left by 6pm and we never seem to do anything Christmas night either.

Boxing Day - Working 4pm-1am. It's a bit of a bugger, as sometimes I prefer the laid-back nothingness of Boxing Day then the hectic, rushing about of the previous day.

Saturday - Working 11am-7pm. Sigh. Fortunately, we're having a bit of a get together on the night, with plenty of old friends. It should be fun, and my once of letting my hair down and having a drink over the festive period. Unfortunately, the mood will have left me by then and it'll just seem like another night out.

Sunday - Finally, a day off, and a chance to nurse a hangover.

New Year's Eve - Working 10am-4pm. This gives me the chance to do something on the night, though I don't have plans yet.

New Year's Day - Working 4pm-1am. Lovely.

As you can see...

Bah, humbug.

Best Present - Probably my N64 in 1997. I was desperate for one (probably a bit too desperate for one, to be honest. Up to the point of being a little brat harping on about it) and thought there was absolutely no chance of getting one. My parents had been brutally honest with me early on and said they weren't going to get one for me and they didn't want to get my hopes up.

Classic parental tactics.

I did a horrible little dance around the front room when I opened it.

Then they pulled the same bloody trick with Zelda the year after.

Christmas Eve: Watched a load of festive telly, Father Ted and Blackadder's Christmas carol mostly.

Christmas Day: learn FIFA 09's controls in the morning with a wee bit of L4D then lunch followed by Guitar Hero on the Wii with me boring everyone about why Tom Morrello is better then every other guitar player ever. 8-)

Boxing Day: FIFA with the family, all will be crushed with Celtic!

Weekend: Old Firm Derby! Celtic crush Rangers by several goals [/ghost of christmas future] PDC darts will be watched as well, James Wade crushs all comers [/ghost of christmas future again]

New Years Eve: Only an Excuse Hogmanay special then pub.

New Years Day: I don't drink so no hangover! Darts final as well.

After that: Diddy BDO darts begins!
