E3 seems less exciting this year since so much awesome stuff has already been announced for later this year.

Iwata comes on Stage: "In the absence of any big 1st party games for 2011 we have collaberated with some of our closest 3rd parties to bring you some of what we believe are your most wanted titles:

Image
"I would like to welcome Yu Suzuki on stage"
Yu: "Although we do not have HD visuals on the Wii the lower cost of development and innovative controls has meant we can develop Shenmue III on a smaller budget and still meet fan's expectations of the series. I have been working closely with Retro Studios to produce an innovative end to a groundbreaking series"

Iwata: "Since the launch of the Wii we have looked to other developers to bring innovation to our console, in particular how they can reimagine an existing series with new control schemes"

Image
SEGA Rep on-screen: "For many years now we have maintained close ties with Nintendo and last year they came to us and asked us which of our core games series we would love to reimagine for the Wii. In response to many fans petitions and the natural fit for the controls we decided to remake our Jet Set Radio Future game for the Wii, with gesture based spraying, custom-tag creator and online gang battles"

Iwata: "I would now like to welcome Aumuna-san, director of Legend of Zelda onto the stage"

Aomuna: "Last year Miyamoto-san released a teaser piece of artwork for all our Legend of Zelda fans and it got all of you talking. Since then we have been working tirelessly on the next entry into the series. However, in the Fall of last year one of our closest partners came to us with a request. They wanted to make a sequel to one of its most revered franchises and realising what we had developed on Zelda so far fit in with their vision we decided to show it to them and we came to a decision:
We shelved development of the next Legend of Zelda and instead used the assets we already had in place and have collaberated on a whole new project we are sure you will enjoy:"

If Iwata announced Shenmue III, then he would be truly dropping a bomb. Heh.

Nintendo
--------
WII:
-The Last Story to get a Western release date. (Christmas this year would be nice.)
-Zelda Wii to be absolutely phenomenal, and to be given a mid-December release. (So that I could get it for Christmas.) To be radically different in visual approach--but in a very good way.
-Xenoblade dated for the UK. Soundtrack to accompany the pre-order.
-Huge Star Fox game revealed for launch sometime next year. Uses the original voice actors and has dual-language option. Soundtrack release, too. Developed maybe by Retro.
-Donkey Kong Racing in the vein of Diddy Kong Racing.
-Luigi's Mansion 2...or something that feels as fresh as the original did. Luigi Mystery Game, with vitality sensor.
-Paper Mario 3

3DS:
-Pilotwings
-F-Zero
-Interesting new Mario game that demonstrates just how good the console can be.
-Wario Land 6
-Mario Kart 3D
-Console possesses graphics on par with the Wii or Gamecube.

DS:

-Last Window gets UK release.
-Pokemon Black and White to get UK release.
-Golden Sun DS to be the best thing ever. And secures a UK release.

My list will never happen--and in very limited capacity if some events do come to pass--but that would literally be my dream E3. It's like a Christmas list--so my last wish would be "plenty of good surprises."

------------------
Microsoft
-Perfect Dark 2 to be revealed; turns out to be a highly-ambitious title that makes an impact comparable to the original.
-New Banjo-Kazooie in the style of the first two games; gets a soundtrack release, as Kirkhope returns as sound composer.
-Conker's Bad Fur Day 2...?
-Natal to feature an in-depth interactive adventure title, preferably underpinned by a theme of mystery.
------------------
Sony
-Last Guardian secures Christmas release. Soundtrack release, too, with music as accomplished as Ohtani's work in Shadow of the Colossus.(Please.)
-Plenty of interesting first-party titles. Heavy focus on these.

If Value announce (or ideally show) something of Half Life 2: Episode 3, I'll be a happy guy...

Sony
-----
PS3:

- DualShock controller design revamped to be much more ergonomic with interchangable D-Pad and LS.

Nintendo
-----
3DS:

- Revealed to have internal power roughly comparable to the GCN/Wii.
- GCN/Wii-to-3DS adaptations announced; Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion shown off in stage demo. More adaptations hinted, as well as possible sequels .
- Worms game announced, makes simplistic use of 3D tech to make explosions seem to come out of the screen, the water seem like it's really receding into the distance etc. It's not hugely impressive, but it works and looks quite good.

Wii:
- Zelda Wii revealed to be roughly same size as Twilight Princess, but with a lot stuff more packed in; sidequests etc. Looks much nicer than Twilight Princess, using new graphics engine based on the Wind Waker engine that TP used.
- Retro Studios' new game is finally unveiled.

Rockstar
-----
PS3/360

- Grand Theft Auto IV: Vice City unveiled. Is roughly 1.5 times the size of GTA IV's game world, again eschewing the state-wide theme of San Andreas. Promises to be more varied than Red Dead Redemption in its missions and stuff to do.

Techland
-----
PS3/360/PC

- Dead Island shown off and demoed. Now looks as nice as Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood, and everyone continues to be intrigued by the game. Demo impressions don't give much away.
- Third Call of Juarez game hinted at, and later revealed in an interview. Retains the first person perspective, but changes to having a full-on open world like RDR, rather than the semi-open and somewhat lifeless 'regions' of BiB. Follows several of the more colourful adventures of Thomas McCall in the years after BiB, roughly until the time immediately preceding the first game, and features both Reverend Ray and young Billy (though neither are playable this time).

Sega
-----
PS3/360/Wii/iPhone

- Sonic The Hedgehog 4 demo is from new build with some new fixes for the homing attack and jumping. The infamous mine cart stage is conspicuously absent from the 360 demo, though is still present on all other formats.
- New Crazy Taxi game announced. More like a mix of the first two games than the third. The Offspring returns as the band of choice for the soundtrack. Everyone thinks the game looks "wow".

EA
-----
PS3/360

- Future Cop L.A.P.D. 2 announced with brief teaser.
- Respawn's leadership talks about where they want to go next in their games, they do not have anything approaching ready to show.

I'm confused...MGS4 isn't new.

For me...GT5 blowout. That would be it for me.
