I haven't seen all of them i don't think, but the Roger Moore ones were awful. I did like Timothy Dalton, he was edgy as strawberry float.

I never did like the ultimate ridiculousness of some of the older ones, not even as a joke. I really enjoyed Casino Royale.

Probably Goldeneye (which I voted for) or Goldfinger.

However, I do absolutely love The Man with the Golden Gun - Its a very different kind of Bond film but I think its absolutely hilarious in places. I always liked Roger Moore as bond, crap from an action minded perspective but he brought something different to the films - they were almost more like spoofs at times but in the best way possible.

OHMSS was probably my favourite novel, but when I finally got round to seeing the film it was rather disappointing. It didn't translate well and I think Lazenby got a bad deal having to star in it. Casino Royale was my other favourite out of the novels, but Craig pulled it off magnificently.

Goldeneye gets the traditional bond film style down to a tee whilst being gritty and realistic. What were the gadgets? Lazer watch, remote mines and exploding pen?

I love Goldeneyes story but for some reason World Is Not Enough just does it for me. I love watching that film especially for the babes, the doctor, sophie and denise. Hot stuff. I'm a huge fan of Casino Royale but due to its grittiness it just doesn't seem to be part of the past 20 Bonds or so, its like a new breed of Bond.

Whoa! Two clear front runners. Goldeneye and Casino Royale. It's funny as they were two out of the three I couldn't decide on. I eventually went with Casino Royale.

Absolutely without question Goldeneye.

You're missing Never Say Never Again, the one where Sean Connery reprises his role as an ageing bond alongside Kim Bassinger.

Not that it's very good, it's essentially a retread of Thunderball - but it should really be there for the sake of completion, it is a proper Bond film.

Licence to Kill all the way. Dalton was the best bond and that was the better Dalton film.

Goldeneye is a close second.

The Spy Who Loved Me.

I know Roger Moore isn't the best Bond, but he's the one I grew up with so I just associate him with the character. This is a great film, and has easily the best opening scene of any Bond movie. Plus the best theme tune, natch.

Never Say Never Again generally isn't considered part of the series though, as it was made by a different production company from the rest. That's why there's no "Bond Theme" or "Bond Intro".

But you're right, it's still a James Bond film.

Thought about it, even though I haven't seen it for a while, it's Goldeneye.

Nice to see a few advocates of Dalton in this thread. I liked his Bond too.

I've seen all of them apart from Quantum of Solace and Die Another Day, but aside from the odd one or two, they all pretty much blend into one really. GoldenEye is probably my favourite purely because it's more memorable due to the game, although Live and Let Die was good too.

I haven't seen that many to be honest. I'd go for Goldeneye out of the ones I have.
