Seriously though, DS9 has the best cast. As for my favourite character, I can't pick. I love Picard, O'Brien, Worf, Odo and Garak.

All votes for Garak are discounted because he isn't part of the crew and was a dreadul character. the only good scene with him in was when he tried to trick Worf he was joining Starfleet Academy. He ruined 'In the Pale Moonlight' too.
But more importantly he isn't in the crew or main character list.
