Spectrum - (Thru' the) Wall - a basic breakout/arkanoid type game that came on the accompanying demo cassette. First game that probably got me addicted to games :twisted:

SNES - SuperMarioWorld - Initially a bit meh, but good game on further play, the early time of the SNES there were very few pal releases.

N64 - Mario 64 - first game to give a good sense of 3D freedom and exploration.

Playstation - Final Fantasy VII / Gran Turismo - I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out they were very good games.

Dreamcst - Crazy Taxi - excellent arcade game, i got a DC when they were being sold cheaply.

Xbox - Halo - HMV demo pod got me hooked, great game, best of all time, campaign never been bettered.

PS2 - GTA III/ Vice City - I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Absolute rubbish game.

Gamecube - Super Mario Sunshine - OK game, but didnt have the "wow factor" of 64.

Xbox 360 - Perfect Dark Zero - very dissapointing, poor game.

Wii - Wii sports - nice free game that came with the system, got better on repeated play.

Although I got the NES later on in my gaming career I'm doing this more or less chronologically. Mario Bros is no less amazing now than the first time I played it, and representative of the NES' library of quality 8-bit games.

Again, I got the Master System later on, but that doesn't change the awesome of Sonic the Hedgehog.

SNES - Super Mario All Stars(Mario 3): :wub:

The first home console I owned, the SNES got off to a strawberry floating roaring start with the remastered Mario 3. Amazing game, I used to play it with my dad and we'd compete for scores.

Game Boy - Wario Blast: :wub:

Great bomberman clone, featuring bomberman himself.

N64 - Super Mario 64: :wub:

One of my favourite ever games, and the start of a golden era of gaming for me.

Playstation - Tekken 3:

Quality fighting game, or so I believed at the time.

I really was. I still remember those days of playing PDZero and GRAW with the GR guys. Absolutely amazing time to be gaming. I hope when the next consoles launch there is that magic that was there for the 360. I will always remember Eighthours team killing on GRAW online! :lol:
