Touchy subject, so if you have nothing to contribute - don't.

Just became single today. Huge argument tonight. Things were said that can't be taken back etc etc

Got the usual effects of a break up;

- shaking
- crying
- sick
- anger
- really hot
- regret

My question to you is, how did you get over it or win them back??

Your mum came home, so I had to leap out the window quick.

I couldn't count the number of times I'd broken up with my ex one two hands.

Luckily my current relationship is much better than my last one ever was. :D

You'll find details of my last break up a few pages back. Surely.

Oh dear. Still, I don't have the heart to take the piss.

Just takes time to get over it, don't try and win them back as it'll just go wrong and you'll probably regret it.

I'll regret not trying something though?

Put it this way, you'll only try and 'win someone back' once.

It'll depend why you argued but also, I can only see you keeping them if you're 100% focused on that alone. Which would mean closing the distance between you and dropping certain things maybe? Certain people will say forget it and others go for it, it's really down to gut feeling and will.

She's worth fighting for and trying to get back. Just given her space is hard.

One of her texts during our last argument said "strawberry float off & Die"

I remember it well. New Years Eve 2001. A pretty gooseberry fool time to break up with someone, but it had to be done because the relationship was going nowhere. And there was the thing with me going home with someone else a few nights before and shagging her brains out, which was the "must do it now" catalyst for the breakup. I wasn't overly nice to my ex on NYE when I told her it was over, to be honest, but there had been too many false break-up dawns because I'd been all accommodating... that night I knew I had to move on and had to act accordingly. We were friends for a while afterwards, though.

That girl I went home with, I'm getting married to her in just over a month. gooseberry fool, it's rushing up fast, lads.

I don't think it would be right to say exactly what was said on a forum, though I will say no cheating/fighting was involved - just argueing and harsh words. Stuff that can't be forgiven.

I did perhaps text to much and want to see her to much. I feel like i've pressured her and dont give her space to herself.
