The planes in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2, absolutely terrible, a thousand times worse than the VTOL in Crysis.

The driving in Pariah was awful (Xbox). Everything else is a joy to drive once you played it.

Any of the vehicles in my beloved EDF 2017. They fall apart in 5 seconds, steer like cows, and don't have particularly powerful weapons.

The, er, 'cars' in Alone in the Dark. Well, I think they were supposed to be cars anyway. They seemed to be made out of epileptic tinfoil.

Wasn't the whole point that here is this utter loser who thinks, in his own tiny mind, that he is a bees knee assassin, driving around on his huge cumbersome machine - but utterly out of control causing chaos left, right and centre knocking everything and everyone down and oblivious to his own pillockness. You're right - utterly crap english on my part.... What I meant was it takes the piss in various ways, at all kinds of things - other games, cultural references etc etc. A proportion of that exercise is though aimed squarely at the player.

The Mongoose in 99% of Halo 3's multiplayer modes. Just getting on the thing is like painting a bulleye on your chest and stapping a giant neon sign to your back saying "I WANT TO DIE!"

I found the Mass Effect and Gears vehicles fine, the real runt are the ones in Conflict Denied Ops which handle like a bed.

This. It was exactly what I thought on seeing the topic title - that stupid control scheme they put in the vehicles put me off getting the game.

Indeed. And if you miss one or two of them it's the most annoying. They just continually fly round your car at high speed, making them almost impossible to hit, whilst draining your health. x

Mass Effect, without doubt. I just go straight past the Geth when driving it. It's just so rubbish

The Light Tank in C&C Red Alert 1. The Soviets had not one, but two double barrelled tanks, but the Allies...this piddling peashooter mobile. Vastly underpowered, this thing didn't even work in massive groups. To date, the Allied campaign is the only C&C campaign I haven't completed.

The buggy in Mass Effect. Terrible controls, very unresponsive and it has a habit of changing direction when it feels like it.
