Talking of cars. Did anyone actually ever drive any non-agency cars in Crackdown?

That bloody "Mako" or whatever the hell its called from Mass Effect *sigh* .... come on that must be the worst?
I think Yahtzee on ZP referred to it as a fat man on a unicycle haha

There was a jeep you had to drive in the 2nd mission of Timesplitters FP.
Good god it was awful.

A quick mention to halo, especially the warthog, every single vehicle controls brilliantly, I'd never have thought of dual analogue control for driving.

No one can say Driver, whatever about its on-foot sections / story / pop-up - It's Driving was always top notch.

Just Cause been mentioned yet? Anything that drove on the ground there handled like absolute arse.

You do know you can to quick-turns and jumps with it?

i did the quick turn once accidentally and never figured out how to do it again. how do you do the jump and quick turns? (and does the game get any better - im currently the third ranked assassin and im bored to hell)

The buggy thingy in Gears was bloody awful.

Yeah, I think I must have driven everything in Crackdown by now.
One of our favourite co op games is smart car jousting on the beach front. 8-)

Ha, indeed. I really didn't like driving in Crackdown, and it was so much more fun to run and jump everywhere anyway. I couldn't even be arsed with any of the stunt or street race missions.

The Jetski I was riding upstream in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune this afternoon was a bit wanky.

I know it's a simulator and I've played others as well, but this was just a broken mess! Couldn't hold a candle to Janes WWII Fighters, in both controls and graphics.

Yeah, so did I. It was quite a visually-stunning set piece. And the fact that the girl did all the aiming for you meant you could just enjoy the scenery, albeit whilst getting shot at.

Except they were utter pants. No degree of difficulty, uninspiring levels and enemies (can you remember anything about the arwing stages apart from the ship?) and way too uninvolving. Think back to what a Lylat Wars stage asked you to do and then think how dull and vapid these parts were in SA.
