I wonder how many people got stuck because they didn't go back and watch all of the execution videos.

I was one of them :x

Ending moan - up until the business with Delta I was hooked and after that I was a bit eh, just didn't feel like the massive payoff that 999/VLR had. The stuff with the transporter was just a step too far for me, which is odd considering what I've put up with from this series.
It'll probably never happen but I think it needs a fourth game, just to tie up the Crash Keys/Free The Soul/Fanatic stuff

Struggling to find a copy of this for 3DS. Did it get a physical release in Europe?

Cheers.

Kind of annoying given how restricted 3DS digital games are.

999+VLR twin-pack announced for 2017 release, on PS4 / Vita. Official PS blog calls it a exclusive.

This is terrific news for series fans... although I kinda wish it was coming to 3DS too. I've always imagined that these titles are the type that you'd want to curl up on the sofa with. Vita owners can, of course, but it would have been nice if 3DS owners could as well.

Random thought... maybe it's not on 3DS because it's gonna be out on NX / Switch :o . But, hey, perhaps the PS Blog's "exclusive" phrasing means that it won't. Dang.

You can play 999 and VLR already on the 3DS though?!?

It's bigger news for the vita as 999 was never released for that system before.

True, Wedgie!  . Although I was thinking of this double-pack getting a 3DS release; with 999 upgraded from the USA DS version.

Is the 999 remaster based on the DS or iOS version?

Not quite loving this like I do for the first two.

I hate the full animation dialogue. Why change it? It was perfect in the last two games. Especially if it’s a long winded story piece and text skipping is not perefect on this game.

Puzzles seem to be a lot easier this time around.

Playing through 999 at the moment. First time.

Got the bad ending and I'm going through again with different choices. Was a bit surprised by how abrupt my first playthrough was

It's pretty good so far. I'm still clueless as to how it is all going to pan out.

I find having to skip through the text a wee bit annoying, but I'm not sure how else they could have did it. So that's fairly minor for me.

Yikes year late, but for anyone who is still curious:

It's iOS version but has puzzles again, though they did change last puzzle.

It's much better version if you want to replay it because of flowchart system being there (though how it works is weird, you still have to replay from one bit so it would read your decisions)

Isn’t the IOS version just the story?

Yeah, but PS4 version has puzzles again - I think it uses iOS assets rather than DS version.

Dunno if iOS has VA either

On my third playthrough of 999. The endings I have got so far have been pretty brutal.

I'm really kicking myself for not playing with a notepad beside me sooner.
