I don't really understand the low to middling scores I'm getting in the spelling and grammar - I post in perfect English 99.9% of the time. :(

Roonmaster, i make all my votes for everyone 100, because despite some people who have problems knowing the difference between 'their' 'they're' and 'there' amongst other things, the standard of English is very good.

Therefore everyone: 100.

Good job I don't get to vote, I'd make a search for 'Roonmaster' and make an example of everyone who posted it.

As honourable as that is Jaxley I can't use this for scoring as it achieves nothing. If the scores in a category aren't varied then that category won't be used by players during play. Which makes this whole exercise a little pointless. Please revote.

Goddamnit. And i suppose fair enough. I'll revote.

But why do they have to be varied? If that's what i think, that everyone can actually speak English in a competent way, why not? Besides, they'll get varied by everyone else's votes. And no person who can type properly wants a low Grammar/Literacy score.

Quite right, having just looked at your past posts you do. I've changed my score to reflect it. Sorry, but when you can't remember some peoples posts I just go by my overall image of them. For you this was the last great spammer on GR and so often with that tag comes bad literacy.

I hope Roon accepts the change.

As long as their is a variation of at least 20 marks over the majority of the people, it'll get past my 'scanners'. So I'm not forcing anyone to score someone 0 for the sake of it. No one can really complain at getting 70 or higher.

Why varied? Firstly, 100 isn't competent as you said when you explained yourself, 100 is spectacular or world-class. Second, it shows that real consideration has been taking in the voting process as there is no way that 60 forumites have the exact same qualities over a single category.

Can we sit out of voting in a category? If so, I'm sitting this one out. It's too hard to give everyone a unique mark.

My low score? Ok then edit it, you know i can debate better than a 25 I mean to make me the second worst debating forumite implies i have the social skills of a demented circus monkey. I can argue and discuss issues sensibly and intellectually (should the topic grab me) In fact i mostly defend the police and the government against Cal, ok so i never change his opinion but then getting blood from a rock would be an easier challenge!

Bumped, because for strawberry float's sake guys, this is awesome - why page 2? Been on holiday weekend so need to check the voting I've missed, but will do all the current ones soon.

The grammar vote situation is odd, so I will try not to hate everyone who gave me less than 99 (you utter bastards).
