I very much enjoyed SSM #31. It was a good conclusion, it couldn't have gone much different really. Suppose the reveal explains why Alchemax had so much focus for few issues. Weird explanation but makes sense since
Osborn was the 'top cop'. Also Ocks legacy of Parker Industries still standsso not a complete reset. Really doubt its the last we've seen of him. Makes sense to do it now new movies out, not bad considering SSM ran for nearly year and a half.

Also got Hulk #1, very cool cover. Ive got about 30 comics to catch up on from the past month. Can never keep going with any X Men, quite enjoying Amazing but Uncanny got old quickly.

Did anyone else find the art in the second half of Spider-Man to be real ugly?

Speaking of ugly art the ads in this weeks DC comics hyping up Romita are dreadful. It looks like a Planet of the Apes version of Superman.

3 weekly titles from DC? I really hate that. In print titles that often doesn't work. Especially at the current price point. I've got the first couple of issues of Eternal waiting for me, but can't see me sticking with it too long.

I'd like the idea more if the weekly titles were replacing rather than complementing existing titles. Boil the entrie new 52 down to 10 weekly titles instead of the current setup with one or maybe two of those titles being in the style of DC Universe presents... for a focused run on a character.

I'm definitely staying with Eternal weekly and I'm giving Future's End a shot, along with Justice League again mainly because of how much I enjoyed Lex in Forever Evil.

Not excited at all for the Earth 2 weekly and I'm hoping the rumour Bleeding Cool ran that post September's yearly new 52 event you need to pick up all 3 together to gain the full story isn't true.

Going to a mixer/masterclass with Mark Millar at my uni in Glasgow on Tuesday night. Looking forward to it, only 50 alumni tickets plus its free 8-) Should probably think of something decent to ask him.

1. Did Grant Morrison really co-write everything you've done up to and including Ultimates?
2. Do you want to apologise to the world for Nemesis?

If I can stop just one person from reading Nemesis, it's all been worth it.

To be fair Irene, Nemesis is itself a masterclass in how not to write comics.

Im pretty sure I could take him if he kicked off but I wouldn't want him to cry and ruin the evening for others.

Which uni's that at? Would be gutted if I missed out on alumni tickets to troll Mark Millar and there's a one in three chance of it.

Ah that's fine, I'm not an alum of Caley. Still, would've been nice to give the guy a piece of my mind. He's vulgar.
