The dpad on the xbox pads is terrible, and the sticks all break too quickly.

Ps5 pad all the way.

Switch Pro Controller. All current gen controllers are great, but the battery life on that bad boy is terrific. I've played spent a lot more time playing Switch games since I got it.

Good shout! A terrific controller and, yeah, the battery life is ages.

When my kid is playing games and asks for help, I automatically call it the "start button" and he looks at me like I've lost my mind.

But saying "press the 3 line button" makes me feel like I'm losing my mind.

Dualshock 4 and Dualsense for me, Sony's most recent designs have been by far the best controllers i have ever used.

The best is the N64 controller, although the actual best is the Switch Pro.

I'm irrationally angry about this

I voted the Buzz Controller. It was exceptional & well ahead of it's time. I plead to others to do the right thing and crown the Buzz controller the best controller of all time.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

Switch Pro Controller missing means that I only cast two, the Wiimote (with Motion+ I assume) and the first vote for the Wii U Gamepad!

Look: it was light, sure, but it was comfortable to hold and it had a ruddy touch screen in the middle. Should that have been the machine's be-all and end-all? No. But it made things like Miiverse an absolute charm to use. Great TV remote too.

Valve Index controllers and Dualsense as a runner up.

I strongly disagree.

Genuinely hurt my hands to use it more than half an hour.

I tend to vote on these things based on when they were released.

Xbox S and Wavebird for me.

Check out my YouTube channel!

I like the Dual Sense but the battery is absolute dog gooseberry fool so automatically out for me. It also drifts like a mother strawberry floater. PS4 controller I never had issues with and probably is the one I've used for the most amount of gaming in my life.

Switch is good but a bit too bulky and sometimes feels off.

Have always liked Xbox controllers but have never used for long periods.

Went for WiiU as it was no frills and worked like a charm, good weight, size and battery, everything is in the right place and saw me through 500 hours of Breath of the Wild.

Wavebird for nostalgia. Still feels great playing RE4 on that thing today.

Switch Pro controller is so comfy and has such a good battery life that it has to be my no.1 choice.

Is the Switch Pro Controller not on the list :fp:

Well, in it (and the Rock Band drums) absence, I will vote for the Dual Sense then as I love all the gadgetry in them. gooseberry fool battery though.
