Those scores are hardly surprisingly, the original is still a fantastic game that really holds its own. All they had to do was not tinker with a winning formula and it sounds like they've nailed it. It makes the complete balls up they've made of every sequel even more mind boggling.

Justice for Super Paper Mario!!

Not as good as TYYD, but loads better than whatever came after, SPM feels like a 10/10 compared to Sticker Star

Origami is a decent 7/10 effort and I'd probably rate SPM similarly. But TTYD is a stone cold classic.

I hope it does as well, hopefully it'll have a good % of the actual GameCubes catalogue of games in it as well when/if (hopefully the first option!) does happen, I need to be able to play Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door again without the need to get my GameCube out (sadly don't have space for them to all be out at the same time), I'd live to have the GC version of Animal Corssing as a portable offering as it was amazing. I dont know if they'd be able to make Mario Sunshine work due to the lack of analogue triggers though. Hopefully they'll be able to release Rogue Squadron 2/3 on it but I imagine that's unlikely.

You never know, the 29th could very well be the latest it'll be with you?

I still think the change in the day games release on, is so people who've ordered them should have them for the weekend at the latest, hopefully it works out as intended, although could just be a trial run for a few months and then they'll assess afterwards.

Has been for Endless Ocean, TTYD and then Luigi’s Mansion 2 remake in June, don’t think anything official has been said though.
