13-2 was an improvement over 13 but as people have said it was far too easy aside from some random monsters in the last dungeon which could slap your gooseberry fool if you weren't prepared. The monster companions were strawberry floating pointless though; there's no connection to a character that you can change out on the fly for something else because it has better stats.
All the areas still felt a bit too disconencted - there's no real overall sense of an entire planet like previous games have had.
Also, the story is just incredibly ridiculous. While there are some neat ideas, a lot of it feels like it's trying to deep for the sake of it or there's plot points where the characters simply do not think, the final battle being the best one:The main bad guy has the ACTUAL HEART of the GODDESS that stops all the bad gooseberry fool happening. What should we do? Stab him in the heart! That's bound to not affect anything at all!
That said, as much as I hate it, I still kinda want to play 13-3...
