Well... if everything turns out the way Nintendo said it would, the 3DS friend codes will be a lot more useful than the Wii ones - they should automatically work with all future games that have online functionality.

I also added him, but just looking at friend list and there's still a few who haven't added me yet. Don't like the Mii-less spots in my friend list so will start deleting them tomorrow night. Do they not realise they also need to add your code, unlike the 360 or PS3 when they get a message with the option to add the person trying to add you?
