I wish I knew where they did them near me. There's the Blochairn market but it's dodgy as strawberry float.

You still in Redcar? Because if you're willing to drive, there's always Scorton and Catterick.

Got a pretty good one near me. I'm 90% certain that most of the stuff is nicked, but that does make for a good bargain.

I desperately need to start going to these :shifty:

I got Super Monaco GP 2 and Donald Duck Lucky Dime Caper for £1 each from Cash Generator recently, was quite happy with that but the carts are pretty scratched up...still nice though as I now have Master System games! Just need to get the means to play them...

I got Sonic Spinball from a boot sale in Ramsbottom years ago. Might start looking around, especially as Gamestation's retro corner is no more. :x

Actually I've noticed Gamestations seem to have a small amount of retro stock. I got a bunch of 50p SNES games from one (Mortal Kombat 1+3, Starwing, Super Game Boy and ISS) and I've seen them selling the likes of Sega Saturn and PSone. The selections weren't particularly great but still worth a look.

I used to love going to the Swansea one back when it opened and walking out with a Mega Drive game every time :D Sucks that it fell to the sports game saturation that always seems to happen with retro stock.

I'm a big fan of car boot sales. Today's bargains included a purple coat (purple's my favourite colour), a vintage Chorlton and The Wheelies jigsaw and a pair of Ray-Bans, all for 50p each! The sunglasses had no case, but at that price I'm certainly not complaining.

I don't know if it's still there but there used to be a decent car boot sale held at Sedgefield race course. It's been a hella long time since I was there so don't get mad if my info is out of date.

Not quite a bootsale, but picked up Alien Hominid and Stubbs the Zombie (both original xbox) from my local Oxfam for the princely sum of £3 over the weekend.

I just went into town to check the chazzas again and picked up another 8 psone games for something like £4 in total, not all were great some I bought just for the boxes been in good condition.

Games of note:

Rayman

Tony Hawk 3

rest were gooseberry fool like jurassic park: lost world, popstar maker, who wants to be a millionaire.

Just been made redundant so looking to make a few more retro purchases in the coming weeks, finally get a japanese super famicom.

I like the idea of picking up great deals at car boots but it never happens. No one has anything new for cheap or anything decent or collectable, or anything retro like SNES games for example. Everyone just has PS2 games, which I've either already played, or are just games that non-hardcore gaming families have, like Fifa for example (nothing wrong with that, of course). I can understand why this is the case but yeah, sadly deals don't exist for me and my area.

Got Sonic Compilation and Worms, both on the Mega Drive complete in box in good condition (with one slight mark on the Worms cart)...

...for £1 each  God bless ye clueless Cash Generator workers. For some reason they have a cart only Ecco the Dolphin on Game Gear for £2...
