Not had as much time to play so far as I would like, but it really is fantastic.

I'll wait 6-12 months for it to go F2P.

You'll be waiting longer than 6-12 months.

I'm more than willing to wait as there is no way in hell I am buying a game and then a sub for it as well.

Daggerfall Covenant at the moment. I'm planning on having characters across all three factions, though.

Of course. I think my character is called Nookaro. Not a fantastic name, but I rushed through character creation so I could get started. I suspect this won't be my main character!

I've taken the plunge and bought this - just the basic game, nothing fancy. I've purchased 1 month of game time. I'm playing as a Wood Elf (they look the best, in my opinion - and I do like a good-looking Wood Elf  ). This gives me the use of some ranged magic - I'm really not keen on melee combat tbh.

Anyway, after the massive download (over 19GB) the game is now up and running. Let's see how this goes...

Good to see someone else playing this! Although you didn't need to buy game time just yet, you get a month of play when you buy the game.

Is there any reviews out for this yet? I'm close to clicking buy to play on my weekend off, need someone to convince me not too.

God dammit I gave in and ordered it anyway.

EDIT: For some reason it's not recognizing the files that are installed from the beta and wants to install all 22GB again. Anyone else have this issue?

Nope, it just downloaded the release patch when I fired up the launcher earlier this week. Have you checked the official forums to see if anyone else has had this issue?

..But I'm falling asleep here. It's quite tedious. Nothing...much...happens...for...a...very...long...time.

Playing third person in an Elder Scrolls game? Worst thing you've ever done Cal.
