Character models are very pretty.

PS4 is still looking like the console I'll buy ;)

What time does the trailer go live?

edit - Changed my mind. Game looks gooseberry fool. Still stuck in last gen

EDIT - Someone stabilized the second gif.

Watching on tiny screen so won't pass judgement on it yet, but lack of dynamic kerploding of game world/materials in the trailer is disappointing.

Ahhhh maaa gawd, he can like, totally verify, that airships fit into the style of the game.

Aside from the totally grating voice, the game looks nice. Hope it's more than just a cover shooter though.

Definitely this. Like the guy in the video said, I really was under the impression this was more of an adventure-style game than a shooter, and to be honest I am a bit disappointed about that. It was my most looked forward to game for this year but the new video has ever so slightly dampened my enthusiasm for it. It still looks good, and I do like the unusual setting, so it's still very high on my list of games to look forward to.

On top of that, I was really concerned when I hard there were airships in the game. I really thought they might be a bit daft or something, but thankfully this guy, who I assume is fully qualified to do so, has verified that the game remains authentic, so that's good.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I think it was revealed it would be a TPS cover shooter almost as soon as the public knew about. The game also has exploration elements but it is primarily a shooter.

If it's a good shooter, then what's the problem?

It's like people criticising Donkey Kong for being yet another quality platformer.

What's like that, exactly? I certainly haven't criticised it for being a shooter, just stated that I thought it was something else, but that it is still very high on my 'things to look forward to' list. I can't see how Mr Yoshi has, either.

I expect it will be a very good shooter.

Just watched it in 1080p. Looks graphically stunning as expected, with amazing lighting and cloth physics. Nice to see a game lifting the graphical fidelity over the last gen to a level many thought wouldn't happen this generation, for some strange reason despite the massive specs boost. Still only a few months into the generation too, imagine what we'll be getting in years 4 and 5.

Also the guy commentating still thinks the original video was pre-rendered CGI  , he should do a bit more research/ look a bit more closer in future.

Yeah that official trailer didn't really do anything for me.

The first few seconds of the VoiceOver in that trailer made me think of Count Duckula.

And that's no bad thing.

I just see it as the same sort of leap in logic as from the Assassin's Creed games, where Da Vinci is making all these crazy inventions for you to use that would never have worked in real life.

Disappointed by the QTEs, but as long as they aren't regular with lots of instant-failure I'll get over it. Whether I get this will depend on the rest of the line-up for Q4

Because what is the point of new hardware if all you are going to do is use it to make the game a bit nicer looking.
