HMV slashes pre-owned game prices by 70%, including next-gen

Company reportedly clearing stock as it prepares to exit the used games market

According to various Twitter users, the sale has kicked off, with a uniform discount of 70 per cent applied to all pre-owned games in every HMV UK shop. The deal applies to games on all systems, including Xbox One and PS4.

One tweet from Twitter user @L1keMike included the image above, showing a number of Xbox One games discounted by 70 per cent, including Call Of Duty Ghosts priced at £13.50 and FIFA 14 for £12.

It is expected the sale will continue until HMV's pre-owned stock is entirely exhausted, at which point the company will cease selling used games.

Saw this sale on here and off i went to HMV in Wolverhampton, they had no XB1 or PS4 games, just 360, ps3, and a few on various nintendo consoles
I was going to get Metro Last Light for just under £5, but decided to go to Greggs and get a Chicken and Chorizo Rustic and a spicy beef pizza slice instead, yumm yumm
