He definitely does it in the second game to talk to a group of cows, and I'm pretty sure he's done it a couple of times since. I think he's always been able to do it, but he doesn't use the ability very often.

Just finished the game and it reminded me a lot of the original Layton but it was magnificent. The music and everything about it was just magical. Loved it.

I have no idea why, but despite having the game since launch I've only started playing it tonight. Done both prologues, it's fantastic. Going right back to it now.

Best part so far was pointed out by Kanbei a few pages back.

I'm playing it in French, so was a little worried the jokes wouldn't be there, but it's a fantastic translation. And it gives me the excuse to replay in English afterwards to spot the difference.

Well into chapter three now, and got this and Mario Kart for the weekend; happy days.

Finished.

Had some reservations about the Labyrinthia "reveal" and how some of the trials weren't as sound as in the AA games...

BUT SUDDENLY EDGEWORTH

10/10 GOTY

I've been chipping away at this pretty constantly, but the last few sections got me pretty hooked and I ended up finishing it in a fairly massive playthrough today/tonight.

As a fan of both series it was an entire joy from start to finish. The production values were incredible, and the entire thing has been created with such love and care. I didn't realise just how much I had missed Maya too. It was very good to see her again.

Had this since release and I still haven't started it yet. Probably won't start it until next year at this point :fp:
