I've just started watching this show. Does the first episode just throw you right into the story? without explaining how/when she became a pot dealer?

I'd bet against that, but I did watch the first episode of 24 today and when Jack shot George with the dart gun I was all like "That was the very first episode?! :shock:

You should watch up until the end of season three. It's brilliant.

Then, because they've ran out of ideas, it turns to gooseberry fool from season four onwards.
