Making games appear on 2nd montior

Just a quickie. I want to spectate on a game on my 2nd monitor, but the game opens on my primary monitor. Is there anyway to force it to run on monitor 2 without switching the monitors around and that it won't auto-minimise when I click on the other screen?

Not ideal but you could try running it windowed and dragging it over. You can make the other monitor your primary monitor (anything running in direct3d will always run on primary monitor) but if you clicked away it might minimise. I think it depends on the program.

"Theatre mode" on ATI cards might work, but that was a while back.
