PostGRcade General Election Ballot Box 2010
by DrPepperMan » Tue Apr 06, 2010 2:30 pm

Right as requested here is the topic for the GRcade GE Ballot Box 2010.

I guess it would be best to leave this topic just for voting and the other topic for discussion.

I have listed all the major parties in the House of Commons from Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_parties_in_the_United_Kingdom#Major_parties_in_the_House_of_Commons

Any that are left out please PM me.

I have enabled re-voting as per members wishes.

FYI any mods...

Could we have this as a sticky and would it be possible to have this topic as a vote only and no replies?

What's the point? The original thread has a poll.

I like the sound of "Independent Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern". I doubt I'll get that choice in the People's Socialist Wealth Redistribution Republic of Lewisham though.

I think "Other" sums it up well.

I assume no vote includes the undecided and the young.

Also found that the Morecambe Bay Independents got taken down by Noel Edmunds.

I can't believe he's still running 10 years later, on what was just a single issue. He's fully behind state medicine, transport etc. though.

11 votes for Liberal Democrats so far.

I voted Conservative in the poll and have no plans on changing my vote.

General Election prediction: A narrow overall Conservative majority.

Make that 12. 8-)

From this early point in the race it seems that the GRcade seat is going to be yellow.

How exactly would the Lib Dems be any worse than the Tories at this point? And I'm saying this from someone who doesn't have a massively different political outlook to yourself.
