strawberry floating trains again. Waited at station for 50 minutes for nothing. Then spent half hour driving passed my house in a bus to a tube station and im finally moving.

Oh well. less time at work for me today.

Alright. I get where you're coming from, but it'd take me 3 hours to get to work and 3 hours to get back with how bad the traffic is. Also in Central London there's nowhere to Park.

Basically you're already travelling via the best option available, you're just going to have to accept being late and adapt accordingly. Just be glad you're not stuck on a bus. Though I was on a 157 yesterday and as it gradually got dark and I watched the world go by it was kind of atmospheric. Because I travel that way so rarely I actually rather enjoyed it...apart from the strawberry floating rock hard seats. Novelty factor, I know but there is something great about London at night, as there is New York...just as long as you don't end up somewhere you shouldn't.

I drive into central London 3-4 times a week, on average its about 45miles from home to work. It's easy once you have done it a while, Parking is expensive at about £40 a day in the city and west end.
I'd very much doubt it would take 3 hrs each way.
