Is it just me that is surprised when Messi doesn't score a hat-trick every time he plays?

Great result today. Gutted I missed the actual game though :x

Shame Suarez missed the penalty, glad he got a goal at the end.

Hopefully we can start getting results like this in the league now...

Might have to take back what I said about Portsmouths inbetween solvency given some of the comments from Trevor Birch this weekend about the state of the club. :fp: Balram Chainrai should be locked up as far as I am concerned.

Sir Alex Ferguson wants ambassadorial role at Manchester United

• Manchester United manager wants two to three more seasons
• 70-year-old intends to carry on working after stepping down

Sir Alex Ferguson says he intends to stay with Manchester United after stepping down as manager.

In an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, to be broadcasted on Monday at 7pm, Ferguson said he wants to stay on as manager for another two or three years and would like a glorious finish to his two-and-a-half decades in charge.

Then he says he would like to be employed at the club, potentially in an ambassadorial role similar to the one Sir Bobby Charlton has.

"I will remain active. I think there will be a role for me at United after I finish," he said.

"I think you always want to go out on a winning note. Hopefully we can do that. I don't know how long I can last now but if my health stays up I don't think another two or three years would harm me."

Ferguson added that his wife is keen for him to carry on working and has even suggested that he becomes a milkman when he steps down from front line football management.

Tal Ben Haim is the well documented one. It now transpires that Mokoena might also be on something similar which would be bizarre. Ben Haim definitely is - and suprise suprise, no one has wanted him for three years!

Herman went to Coventry - Lawrence and Kitson on roughly 20k each (shudder) - most others are well below the £10,000 - with many below £4,000 (Futacs, Ward, Henderson etc)
