Less than two weeks since I was set my current report I've researched it from scratch with no background in the subject and done 9,000 of about 50-60,000 words. I've got four weeks to finish it before it goes to quality control.

Got a text off my brother to say an Amazon package had arrived. The only thing I had ordered from them was a new pair of headphones. Nothing fancy, but I was looking forward to replace my iphone ones as I listen to music all day at work.

Get home and find a suspiciously DVD-shaped package. Hmm. Price on the front shows the price of the headphones however. Open it up and find the DVD of The Girl who Kicked a Hornet's Nest. How?! I have no idea how things work inside an Amazon warehouse, but the invoice in there clearly states headphones!

I've now submitted a returns thingy and printed off a return label, but they make no mention of wether they're sending my headphones now or when they receive their stupid DVD back. It better be the former or they're getting a very nasty email.

Something Fishy

so chuffed we got our roof properly insulated back in October. Had wall and double glazing but it was just lost through the roof.

we're running our heating at two thirds of what they were last time it was cold and the house is staying warmer.

Toasty now in this brrrr weather.
