The streaming selection has got much better/bigger with this move. Discovered Power Rangers on there last night  Been wanting to watch that again for years but you're looking at about £60 for a box set since it never came out over here.

Are you that guy who still uses Lovefilm over Netflix then?

I didn't think they'd be on GRcade. Can I have your autograph?

I mainly use it for the DVDs by post, so Netflix isn't really an alternative for that.

I was surprised by how gooseberry fool the range of films are on Netflix, the amount people go on about them.

The majority of films I search for they haven't got, and it's not like they're rare or niche ones (Bourne trilogy, Rush Hour, etc.). Not that I use lovefilm either like.

The Bourne Trilogy can be found on Canadian Netflix.
Rush Hour can be found on Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland Netflix.

I find it hard to understand why people would expect them to always have almost every film you can think of.

Of course if you just think of a film and look for it, it probably won't be there. That doesn't mean the range of films is gooseberry fool.

The other thing of course is that Netflix probably gets used by most people to watch TV shows. Again obviously they don't have everything, but there is a lot of good stuff available without having to change your region.

US unblock makes Netflix. Netflix UK on it's own isn't enough.

I'm using the free trial of this which is fine but I won't renew it. Motion quality in a couple of newer films I've watched is not as fluid as natural as Netflix. I watched a bit of the first episode of Only Fools & Horses and Buffy as they were described as HD. Obviously OF&H wasn't recorded in HD but I wanted to see why they were labelled, still looks like an old TV show but possibly sharper clearer image, maybe upscaled? Buffy still looked like a bad SD VHS. But when I get the chance I will try and compare it with non-HD version on Netflix.

Amazon also offer many films to rent or buy, but I don't like that they are mixed in with the free content as I would see a film I would want to watch and then see there is a charge. Feels too much like internet browsing where there is a price on everything.

Not impressed with the Lovefilm catalogue after checking it out. Not a lot of movies on there I want to watch. Definitely won't be renewing Prime.

Netflix seems to be one of the few things Canada can do right.

Unfortunately World War Z is docked a load of points for being absolutely nothing like the books other than they both contain zombies.
