Turns out the "automatic update" setting on my phone's clock doesn't change for DST. I went in an hour late today because I didn't think to check it yesterday :fp:

Pretty sure that's how the joke was intended. "OMG did he just call that guy a slope? Oh no wait, it's OK, he meant the bridge is sloping lololol."

Also, how do so many of you not know the term slope? You must all have seen and remembered this scene. Skip to 1 minute in, it's the only version of that scene I can find.

I don't mind bees and wasps. As far as I'm aware they only sting if they feel threatened, outside of a few cases in autumn where they can sting because they're really drunk and out on the bants (for real).

Picked up a Chromecast at lunch today.

One thing lead to another and Ive just put down £450 for the components to build myself a home media server. So much for that extra dosh this month..

I can either get a local pizza for £3.20 which is 12" have half a pepperoni per slice but tastes decent enough, or get a large dominos with 5 toppings for £10.38. If I get dominos I don't have to leave the house either... but do I want to spend a tenner? Hmm, I have until wolf of wall st finishes downloading to decide, so about an hour or so.
