It used to snow quite a lot before. Say about maybe in 2002 or was it 2003? We had a heavy snowstorm here in London. Ice above my ankles, traffic stuck at a deadlock, could barely see more than fifty metres ahead of you, could barely walk properly. I remember we got snowed in at school that day, I didn't want to wait so I walked the two miles home, passed by loads of cars and buses packed with passengers. The next day the school was still snowed in, services were running trying to put salt down, school was shut, folks couldn't get into work that morning either. When the snow stopped on that night after school, it looked gorgeous outside. After that we've not had proper snow for a long time. Snow falls and melts within hours here in London.

But in Auckland, where i am, it never snows
