Knock down target. No, no not with a car. I realise that's what 99% of people would assume we meant but what we actually want you to do is beat them up with your baton. Derp de derp.

Played first hour. Love it. Looks alright and busy city is impressive. Car handling is odd tho.

Doing online stuff is fun, but I olten get "Connection lost" about 1/2-3/4 of way through when I'm winning. PLEASE tell me there's a penalty if people stop game/net connection and crash out?

When everything works out, it does feel very cool.

It just occurred to me last night that the car chases are basically the mechanic that arcade racer Split Second used, where you could trigger events on the track to mess up the opponents.

I'm enjoying this, but I do hope the campaign knows when to end and just doesn't go on and on like GTA V. That became such a chore to get through by the end.

So what's everyone's favourite digital trip? I think it has to be Spider Tank for me, it's the only one I can see me returning to more than once.

This runs well on PS4. Looking at the Eurogamer face off, I'm glad I didn't get it on PC.

Seems competent but dull at the moment. Can't see much cause for it to pull me away from Mario Kart.

This game is flawed at a fundamental level.

The game likes players to use cover mechanics and sneak about but it doesn't work very well. If you try to sneak out of a firefight enemies always know where you are. The practicalities of 'line-of-sight' go straight out the window.

It's just not very well designed this game, at all.

Is there a certain point this picks up a bit? I've just met Damien again and it's boring me to tears. Some of the sneaking is alright.

The scenes about the niece are really weird. Her mum doesn't seem that fussed.

Yeah, you see quite a lot of random stuff like that if you just do what you were doing there and walk about at normal pace taking in the sights. I've seen quite a few crashes, seen police chases (nothing to do with me), and lots of smaller stuff - like one time a group of peeps outside a house all taking group photos of each other - oh, and one guy not far from the hotel Hideout flying his radio controlled plane quite happily. Tons of things like that. But you have to go slowly through the world to notice it all.

Setting up an online game in this is so broken at the moment. :fp:

Game seems ok so far in terms of shooting and stealth, but christ the driving....GTA5 spoilt me.

Can't see myself finishing this at all but it can be quite fun with random bits and pieces going on. I wish it were a bit more janky, tbh.

Was randomly running along and then this happened:

Cars either seem to explode on impact or nothing happens to them:

Am I the only one finding this a little bit racist? Every petty crime that pops up might as well say "black man detected". I'm surprised there hasn't been a backlash.

I don't know why but I really enjoy wearing the 1920s Mobster (or PI :shifty: ) outfit.

(Have it imagine it sneaking about solving clues and without the gun)
