Why the hell did they change Sunshine Orphanage to Morning Glory? :dread:

I read it's something to do with the direct Japanese translation being that.

I thought Yakuza 4 and 5 were already on PS Now? That was how I was intending to play them after Kiwami 2 is released.

EDIT: Not in the UK apparently.

 Game going from PS3 engine cutscene to PS4. I wonder if they included that just to fully get over to the player how much of an improvement PS4 engine is. At least in terms of graphical fidelity as I've already seen some minor frame skipping in the PS4 engine cutscenes.

Finally! A legit reason for PS4 Pro and possibly 4KTV: You can MOVE ABOUT KAMUROCHO IN FIRST PERSON!

:toot: :toot: :toot:

Walking up Sky Finance steps (oh man! Back alleys/lots look filthy af!), entering Serena and Poppo... just doing ALL THE THINGS in first-person view :hnnnngh:

The framerate and screen tearing seem much more stable than they were in the demo.

The upgrade system was a bit confusing at first but It's much better than the one in Kiwami. I always seem to end up with shitloads of XP to spend on a ton of things.

Thank got this one has autosaving

Is it always the same town in Yakuza? I finished Yakuza 0 last year and plan to play through Kiwami soon but I wondered if it’s always the same open world?

I want to get Y6 and YK2 this year as well, still hoping they announce they are bringing Y3,4 & 5 to PS4 at some point

Yup. Although Kamurocho's layout remains largely the same, you're able to go to different places in each game (within Kamurocho and beyond), and interact with it in slightly different ways and that helps keep it somewhat fresh.

3, 4 and 5 also have other areas but Kamurocho is always the main biggest one. This one has a town in Hiroshima too.

Cool, I did wonder if it had the same base map and then they just build upon it per game.

It will be a while till I get to play 6 as I want to at least play Kiwami and Kiwami 2 before hand but it looks great!

After the longest intro ever. It’s kinda cool to see how Kiryu has aged between 0 and 6.

Game looks absolutely stunning, I've spent ages just walking around and gawping at everything.
Also been playing a load of mini-games, there's a great selection of activities here.

My only complaint is that the fighting does seen a bit basic compared to 0 and Kiwami as there's only 1 fighting style, but maybe once I upgrade a bit more and gain some more skills this will change. Still loving the game.
