10 Pin Bowling

I went bowling last night with missus, got a paltry score of 96 (Funny, I didn't see you there Stu? You normally go bowling?!) What's the highest score you've ever had? Mine was 147. Anyone scored a turkey? Anyone slipped and fell flat on their face in front of anyone? Tell us!

I got 190 once.

You'd think I would be better....

But that's not true, I'm all about the atmosphere and good times.

Points mean nothing to me.

The highest score I've ever got was like 95. These days I average like 50.

196. I had professional training when I was younger, but these days I'm not that great. I do usually win though. Recently one of my mates broke the 200 mark, which annoyed me immensely.

Highest for me is somewhere in the early 180s. I don't play much, but I'm pretty good at it, I reckon.

Yeah, got a turkey once, right in front of a group of rather impressed ladeez.

Last time I went was just after Wii Sports came out so I wanted to see if those skills translated well over to the real game.

171. I've hit 16x a few times, it was a relief to finally get past that. I don't think I'll ever break 200 though, I only go usually once every few months. My 171 was pretty great to be honest, I started off with a turkey and got mostly spares to the end.

Usually I only tend to hit around the 120 mark though.

Playing Wii bowling before real bowling can totally destroy your game though.

On my 196 run I got a four-bagger, which was pretty exciting. Just getting four in a row gives you a minimun score of 90.

What done my head in last night was, three times on the trott I hit nine down and left one bugger standing, of course with the second ball it was whizz by, thus why I had the score of 96....

managed a 197 once. Got a strike or spare almost every end including getting a turkey too. 8-)

Normally get around the 140 mark with 3 strikes and a couple of spares or so.

Always win though. Have a bowling trophy on my work desk from the last team bowling night. Looking at it now.....
