2013 GRcade Lego Creator Club - Robots/Mechs

Awesome builds so far. I've managed to put the tyres on the wheel so far. Doing a build tomorrow night all going well.

I built mine but don't currently have means to upload pictures, lets just say it would destroy everyone else in the field so far, except maybe the tank, but mine is built for speed so I'd just outrun that.

Its a three wheeler (1 front 2 back), built for speed and the ability to sabotage foes. It comes complete with front spikes to puncture the tyres of anyone who happens to be in front of me (unlikely I know), a distracto-pole which flips out to the side or up above the car equipped with lights to blind any opponents unlucky enough to be behind me (everyone in the field essentially). Once you've been distracted the final nail in your coffin will be deployed, a ramp will drop from the rear of the vehicle which in your hapless state you will drive onto triggering said ramp to flip back up and you to do a violent 180 flip onto your roof.

If the attacking prowess of this machine wasn't enough it also is equipped with a cabin which is fully protected against any attacks the driver might face from vehicles behind.

Impressive I know. Lucky you guys can't set sight on this intimidating machine just yet.

Obviously there is bending of the rules by sticking a non standard monkey in the vehicle. How far is too far though? :shifty:

Mini figs are allowed as long as they are not part of the structure.

I'm up for a new build.

Spent ages in LDD gathering every part for the set, should make things a bit easier.

If I can get the set in Sainsburys with a load of Nectar points, I'd like to be in...

Cool. No joy in Sainsburys today but I've got it on reserve at Argos for tomorrow, I will try and do a wacky racer even if we've moved on.

Finished mine, just waiting for the lengthy POV-Ray rendering process to finish.
