I'm quite surprised that only two of us went for an aquatic animal as the mainly blue/white coloured bricks would be suited to whales, fish, dolphins and sharks.

Love the owls though, and the camel is ace too.

I started on a squid, with the same idea for eyes as I eventually used on the owl. I just couldn't get a tentacle-like look, I ended up with far too many 90 degree bends!

The colour choice doesn't really bother me, as I assumed we are going for a stylised look anyway. We could always try black & white photography/rendering, it might allow us to take some liberty with the pieces we use?

I enjoyed making something other than a vehicle too - I was going to suggest a landmark - a building, monument or structure that would be recognisable and we would have to guess each others.

I loved your whale - a really tight, proper 3d construction as opposed to the kind of 'decoupage' impression of depth I ended up using.

To be honest this sounds like too open a theme.

Part of the fun is in building your way around straightjacketing limitations. The source set is one such limit.

Could have limited it to insects only and something along those lines.
