Was expecting a knock-out re launch with a number of surprises but it didn't quite deliver as much as I wanted.
Metro was a nice surprise and looked fabulous (if suspiciously scripted).
AC:O looks lovely but still clunky.
Sea of Thieves looks like my kind of game but frustratingly released next year.
Anthem looked mind-blowing but achievable? Not sure.
Forza looked great (as was to be expected) and looks noticeably more 'real' in 4K.
I wanted more of "This is what game X will look like now on Xbox One X. If they had lined-up a long list of previously-released games and said, "This is now 60fps, 4K... and this one... and this one." I would have been happier.
I'm surprised there was no news on a new Halo / Bethesda game / details of CoD World War II One X features.
Business as usual, then. I love the Xbox brand and am happy that I'll be playing more on an Xbox console when the X is released later this year. I'm not, however, massively hyped.
Also noticed the clapping got progressively less emphatic as the presentation went on.
