It used to be called Beam, but they had problems licensing that name in other countries.

Yeh took me a few goes. I tried during the week too and still had problems with it. Or redirecting.

I guess it must be popular

If you can't tell, there's something wrong with your eyes or your TV.

Or it's just a really great TV. 8-)

Death's Head wrote:The problem for me is that we don't yet have hardware that can maximise 1080p so moving to 4K is unnecessary. When we can play games on 1080p that look as good as watching TV or films, then hardware manufacturers can start pushing us to 4K.

Ditto, half the games around today are still incredibly ugly, very few developers like Naughty Dog and Dice seem capable of creating detailed realistic character models.

Bethesda Softworks games in 4K :dread:

Looking forward to finding out about Scorpio only to decide that within seconds I'll never have one. :datass:

I think it's going to be around an hour and 45 mins this year, they're usually an hour and a half.

Its going to be far too pricey for me and MS have struggled to make games that interest me. I don't see this changing much.

My living room TV is only 720p... and I won't be upgrading it to 4K anytime soon. I'd be more likely to get a 1080p screen and so I'm more interested in 1080p improvements from both the Pro and the Scorpio.

Yeah, the cost will probably be a prohibitor for me, too, particularly as I'm invested in Sony and Nintendo consoles. I'd like to see MS bounce back and the Scorpio be a real hit, though.

Edit: One hour until the show starts. "I'm excited!".

Its more, who here thinks their next TV is likely to be a 4K screen.

I know some of you don't care, but for those who do I think the next TV most people buy will be 4K.
